Harrisonburg Heritage Festival

  • The return of our car show will be one of the big events of the 2026 Village of Harrisonburg Heritage Festival. We are pleased to announce the partnership we have made with O’Reilly’s Auto Parts of Jena, La. They are sponsoring our Car Show to make this a really special day for car owners and car enthusiasts. All throughout the Harrisonburg Downtown we expect to see many beautiful machines on display.

    Trophies for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place will be awarded for:

    • Hot Rod

    • Classic Car

    • Classic Truck

    Individual plaques will be awarded for Best of Show, People’s Choice and O’Reilly’s Choice. Door Prizes will be pulled every hour and judging will begin at 12 with awards presented at 2 pm. Owners must be present to win.

    Interested car owners should email the Harrisonburg Service League at harrisonburgserviceleague@yahoo.com. Onsite registration will be open from 8:30 am to 10 am with an entry fee of $10. Trophies and other prizes are being provided by O’Reilly’s Auto Parts.#2026HHFCARSHOW

  • Our Children’s Carnival returns and will be held in the new Steamboat Park at this year’s Heritage Festival!The Children’s Carnival will include a petting zoo and a bounce castle near the Splash Pad. Kim Byrnes will be adding Face Painting to this year’s carnival.

  • This year we are introducing a Cornhole Tournament!

    $40 entry fee for each 2 person team. $200 for first place team and $100 for second. Teams can sign up with @Berverly Nelson before the Festival or on site the morning of the event.

    ACA Rules will be followed with the addition of a 30 minute time limit on games.Tournament will be Double Elimination and brackets will be finalized on the day.

The 2026 Harrisonburg Heritage Festival will be held April 25, from 10 to 4 in the new STEAMBOAT PARK on the Harrisonburg River Front. A live music stage will be set up and the Children’s Carnival will be by the park’s Splash Pad.

This year we have partnered with O’Reilly’s Auto Parts of Jena, La to bring back the Car Show.

Vendor spots will be set up around the park and throughout the Harrisonburg Downtown.
